It will work “out of the box” in most rendering scenarios.
In most cases “render as is” is the mode that you should use. Render as is doesn't have any additional settings either.
We do not provide any GI caching options in this mode. Also, it can be used for scene testing purposes or for atypical GI setups like Brute Force with Brute Force, or Brute Force with Light Cache.
